I see the Lion of Judah

VIsions are a tricky business.

Since my first one of my mom standing in a great darkness on the night before she finally went to Jesus, visions have been sent to me about people, situations, and sometimes — and these are my favourite — they are visions of Jesus and of eternity.

Beautiful beyond description, they make my whole self leap and laugh.

Sometimes, they can be quite startling, like the recent one I had of a lion.

Sometimes during Praise and Worship I like to ask the Lord if I may please get a glimpse of Him. He often obliges and it is never EVER not once the same image! Sometimes He is reaching out to me, sometimes He is walking by me with his hair tied up, sometimes He is standing in a particular spot. The beautiful, blinding light is always there and when I reach out I can sometimes see the holes in his hands, a little bit crusted over.

So, a couple of weeks ago, I asked again, Can I see you?

I saw a paw. Stretching over a rock.

A PAW?!

Pan left. Ah, there's the rest of it. It's a lion.

A LION?!!

A beautiful, golden lion with a spectacular golden crown of hair, looking majestically lazily (can you picture that) at me. The eyes, those kind, deep, "How much do I love thee" eyes are the same.

It's the Lion of Judah.
Lord Jesus in a totally new incarnation to me!

I laugh out loud, knowing if I told my friends and my husband they would roll their eyes and say There she goes again, this over-imaginative writer girl.

But I treasure the vision. I know He's telling me He's the King of Kings, the Lord of Lords. There is none greater.

The battle is already won!

Hallelujah!

Start watching Joan Of Arcadia. God appears among us all the time as well. For a show that's supposed to be non-religious, it does give one a lot to think about.
